TERÉZIA MELIŠKOVÁ

This stage design was done as a semestral project during my stay at Hanyang University. It is designed to fit the Hanyang University Theatre. It represents the tradition and poverty that Brighton Beach Memoirs talk of, the stage consisting of a basic wooden structure with white walls and concrete floors (representing the poverty that the Jerome family lived in). There are elements such as the victorian staircase, windows, doorframes and furniture that fit into the original setting.
